Job Description11426Introduction:Visium Resources has been asked to identify qualified candidates for this Civil Engineering Designer/Senior CAD Technician position in our Maitland, FL office to support our ongoing project workload. This role offers the opportunity to work in a medium-sized office with the resources and benefits of a larger firm. What does this mean for you? The chance to work on unique projects as a team lead and collaborate with other development disciplines to form a development team for larger mixed-use projects.Responsibilities:Design and draft site civil engineering drawings for subdivision, industrial, and commercial projects.Design and analyze engineering systems related to land development and utilities.Develop and deliver calculations for site grading, stormwater management, water and wastewater utilities, and roadway requirements for construction plans.Maintain client communications and build client relations.Gain experience relevant to obtaining a Professional Engineer license (if applicable).Qualifications:Understanding of land development planning is required.Proficiency with AutoCAD for design purposes.Civil 3D experience is preferred.Knowledge of stormwater analysis and design is an asset.Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in a project engineering environment.Strong leadership, organizational, and project management skills.Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to adapt to continual change in a dynamic environment.Task-oriented with strong interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills.Company Description:Visium Resources is an award-winning employment firm dedicated to matching talented individuals with successful organizations.
