In this senior role, you will enable improvements in maintenance management programs and support key asset management practices. You will be a key driver in uplifting asset management capability, embedding robust systems, practices and enabling smarter more sustainable decision-making across the organisation.What You Will Do:As the Senior Engineer Maintenance Management Programs, you will assist shaping how Council maintains and manages its infrastructure assets. This role is central to improving our maintenance management programs and offering tactical asset management support to improve asset performance and service levels.We are looking for someone who understands the real-world challenges of infrastructure maintenance and can help enable smarter systems and practices to inform long term planning objectives. By executing core asset maintenance management programs making it easier for stakeholders to plan, prioritise and deliver renewal, strategy and risk programs that extends asset life and improves service levels.Working closely with technical and operational teams, data systems and within asset system frameworks, you will help assist to ensure our infrastructure delivers maximum long-term value to the community through obtaining critical asset data and quantifying risk to enabling planning, optimised maintenance processes and more efficient resource utilisation.Key Responsibilities:Continuously improve Councils asset management frameworks including Tactical programs for asset renewal, maintenance strategy, condition assessments, asset criticality, defect elimination, work management, change management and planned outages. In addition to forward looking programs, the role will provide tactical asset management support to relevant stakeholders where required.What We Are Looking For:This is a role for someone who can apply maintenance management principles into clear processes that teams can adopt and rely on every day.
