We''ve quickly built strong relationships with leading owner-operators, EPCMs, consultancies, and construction firms, contributing to major projects in mining, energy, renewables, and infrastructure worldwide.The OpportunityThis role is on a large-scale iron ore development project with a global resources client, currently progressing through intensive construction and early commissioning phases.You will be part of a high-performing EPCM team working in partnership with multiple contractors, providing the platform to broaden your experience across all facets of project health and safetyfrom strategy and systems implementation through to on-the-ground engagement and coaching. This opportunity offers both challenge and reward in equal measure.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as a Health & Safety subject matter expert, guiding EPCM and contractor teams to apply industry best practice and meet legislative obligations.Influence positive safety behaviours and practical outcomes through coaching, mentorship, and visible leadership across all levels of the project.Collaborate with contractor management to ensure alignment with the Health & Safety Management System and site-specific safety requirementsLead and participate in incident investigations, including root cause analysis, reporting, and implementation of effective corrective actions.Monitor and report on HSE performance trends and complianceMaintain accurate HSE records and documentation.What you''ll need8+ years of experience in the mining industry, including construction projectsExperience working onRio Tinto/FMG/BHP projectsLead Auditor qualificationICAM Lead Investigator certificationDiploma in Occupational/Work Health & SafetyConstruction InductionAdvanced First Aid certificationWhats on OfferCompetitive flexible ratesFIFO roster (2:1)PAYG or PTY LTD engagement optionsOpportunity to work within a respected project team on a significant resources developmentCareer development, mentorship, and exposure to complex safety challenges in a structured EPCM environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
