About YRTYalagan Registered Training RTO Code 91627 is an accredited indigenous owned and certified RTO with core delivery capacity in Sydney, Newcastle, Brisbane, Perth, and Melbourne and a focus on Construction, Rail, and High-Risk work courses.The RoleWe are currently seeking a motivated and passionate RTO administrator to join our team based at Botany to extend support to our students. The role is also pivotal in administering funded training contracts (e.g smart and skilled). Managing claims while ensuring compliance is met with the RTO Standards 2015 and the guidelines set by state governments is highly regarded.ResponsibilityThis will include:Experience in Student support and RTO administration related duties and responsibilitiesAssist in training management including enrolments, invoicing, scheduling of sessions, resulting and completions;Trainers management, in relation to booking trainers, and premisesTraining resources management, including materials printing, organisation and related logistics.Data entry, including results and claims for student through multiple student management systems and LMSMaintenance of student data and files in accordance with RTO policies and complianceProviding excellent customer service to students including responding to general queries, processing enrolments, issuing of training plans, generating certificates/statement of results, managing the customer retention process and follow upAll levels of administrative duties including filing, typing, data entry and scanningSetting up, maintaining and packing up room requirementsLiaising with employers and facilitatorsCollaborate well with others, building and maintaining effective relationships and engendering a spirit of teamworkReception reliefOther duties as required.Selection criteriaTo be successful in this role, you are expected to have the below skills and attributes, this will be used to guide selection to the next phase of the recruitment process.:Previous RTO experience in administering training qualifications and or programsKnowledge of the AQF, RTO national code, and RTO compliance requirementDemonstrated student management system experience and computer literacy with a minimum of intermediate skills in Microsoft programsExcellent knowledge of training package requirements.Understanding of government funding policies and procedures for RTOsStrong communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholdersSelf-motivation, with demonstrated ability to work independently and within a teamAbility to work unsupervisedStrong attention to detailPreferred skills and attributesThe following are not must-have, but they will be highly regarded to guide selection to the next phase of the recruitment process.Recent experience working in the construction industry, Rail industry, or high-risk work licencesExperience and knowledge operating Moodle (or similar LMS)Understanding of smart and skilled subsidised trainingExposure to traineeship and apprenticeship programs.YRT will offer:Happy, and easy-going workplaceFlexible working hoursTraining and development opportunitiesMonthly performance feedback and career coachingHow to apply:If you are interested in this opportunity, please click the ''Apply for this job'' button.Please attach a cover letter briefly addressing our selection criteria.
