General Manager - Joinery Manufacturing & InstallationCompetitive Base Salary + Super + Profit ShareAs the General Manager, reporting directly to the Business Owner you are responsible for the overall performance and success of Boutique Kitchens & Joinery.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Planning: Developing and implementing long-term and short-term strategic plans to achieve organizational goals including enhancing our capabilities, processes and competitive positioning.Operations Management: Overseeing daily operations end-to-end, including sales / estimating, manufacturing and installation teams to ensure high-quality, efficient and timely delivery of projects.Financial Management: Managing budgets, forecasting, and reporting on financial performance.Human Resources Management: Hiring, training, and managing personnel, including senior staff.Leadership & Culture: Providing visionary leadership, inspiring and motivating teams, driving business growth and profitability, and championing a positive, inclusive workplace culture.Continus Improprovement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement, safety and customer-centricity within the teamsPerformance Management: Setting performance goals, monitoring progress, and evaluating performance to optimise productivity, quality and cost-effectiveness.Stakeholder Management: Communicating with and reporting to key internal and external stakeholders.Business Development: Proactively identifying strategic opportunities for growth, including new market segments, partnerships, fostering client relationships. Not just push out tenders.What we''re looking forSignificant experience (10+ years) in a senior management role within a manufacturing or construction business, ideally in the joinery, woodworking or commercial fitout industries with team of 50+ personnel under your controlProven track record of driving operational excellence, optimising productivity and delivering superior customer outcomes.Comprehensive knowledge of and experience implementing lean manufacturing tools and ISO9001 standardExcellent people management skills with the ability to lead, motivate and develop high-performing teamsStrong commercial acumen, financial management skills and the ability to interpret data to inform strategic decision-makingExceptional communication and stakeholder management skills to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholdersTertiary qualifications in management, engineering, business or a related field would be highly regardedProficient in Microsoft Office and understanding of ERP''s, MRP''s, CAD softwareFull QLD Drivers LicenceWhat we offerAt Boutique Kitchens and Joinery, we are committed to providing our employees with a rewarding and fulfilling work environment. Producing modern and functional Joinery for a range of commercial properties we are well versed in managing projects with a variety of materials and finishes commonly specified for Aged Care, Education, Hotels, Pubs, Clubs, Office, Commercial Fitouts including Stone, Porcelain, Metalwork, Solid Timber, Solid Surface, Upholstery, etc.We understand that our clients have diverse needs, and some may require only specific aspects of our services.
