Someone who puts excellence, compassion, connection and caring for other people at the heart of everything they do.Reporting directly to the Head of Strategy & Planning - Private Hospitals, the Strategy Lead will be responsible for leading strategic and service planning initiatives from conceptualisation through to implementation. You will provide critical input into the future strategic direction of St Vincents, primarily focusing on our Private Health sector.This is a Permanent Full Time position based in either of our Group Head Offices in Melbourne (preferred) or Sydney.Key responsibilities of the role:Lead strategy and planning initiatives to drive St Vincent''s future growth and sustainabilitySynthesize both qualitative and quantitative data to inform key decision-making and service planning, including deep dives into data to extract insights and translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendationsProactively monitor the external environment, including the health industry and wider commercial sector, to identify relevant trends and their implications for St Vincent''sProvide high-level strategic advice to clinical and broader leadership on sector and industry innovation, while engaging key clinical and operational stakeholders to ensure optimal planning outcomes through stakeholder management and effective navigation of diverse perspectivesImplement robust project management methodologies and manage the production of high-quality project outputs, such as risk assessments, feasibility studies, and project plans, and lead post-project implementation reviews as requiredDevelop compelling strategic narratives and professional presentations that effectively communicate complex quantitative data and insights to diverse audiencesThings that work for us:Demonstrated planning, data analysis and project management skills and experience in a large, complex organisation, ideally within Healthcare (Private Health is a strong bonus)Strong quantitative skills, coupled with a comprehensive understanding of strategy frameworks and excellent communication abilities.
