This role is based at our South Brisbane campus.The core function of the role is to support the daily administration requirements of Mater Refugee and Multicultural Health Service with a specific focus on operational efficiency. To proactively perform tasks relating to service delivery, business support, systems administration, and any other tasks as directed by the Operations Manager, ensuring work performed is exceptional, every time.The role will work closely with the Operations Manager and Administration Officers and will be responsible for supporting the management of resources to meet business needs and growth.Apply basic knowledge of the applicable work instruction/s to support the work unitActively participate in supporting a collaborative team culture by applying and adhering to Maters Behavioural Standards and Code of ConductActively partner with consumers and patients, as well as interprofessional colleagues, to support service and operational objectives that provide an exceptional experience and outcomes, every timePerform typical administrative duties which may include but is not limited to:Filing and record maintenanceCoordinate management of incoming and outgoing correspondencePrepare and scan documentationParticipate in the implementation of projects, undertaking training and education as necessaryApply the principles of Speaking With Good Judgement in all interactions with colleagues and peersAbout youYou will have excellent computer skills with ability to learn and use software systems quickly. You will also meet the below criteria:Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications, including Teams, Excel, Word, PowerpointHave exceptional communication skills and strong English proficiencyForm and maintain excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholdersBe accurate and efficient in data managementAble to work independently to prioritise and manage multiple tasksAble to effectively respond to a changing work environmentHave experience working with multicultural/refugee background communities (desirable)Previous experience in a health setting (desirable)Mater is Queenslands largest not-for-profit healthcare provider, delivering exceptional care to nearly 700,000 patients each year across 11 (soon to be 12) hospitals.
