Youll coordinate sourcing activities, ensure compliance with procurement policies, and contribute to continuous improvement across procurement processes.Key AccountabilitiesProvide specialist advice and manage source-to-contract procurement processes in alignment with business objectives and compliance protocolsLead the development, coordination, and execution of complex tenders, supplier evaluations, and contract negotiationsDeliver accurate procurement reporting, market analysis, and dashboards to inform strategic decision-making and continuous improvementApply risk mitigation strategies for high-value procurements and ensure fair, transparent, and ethical sourcing practicesEngage with stakeholders to understand business needs and support procurement planning, market briefings, and supplier relationship managementChampion a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement, adhering to all relevant WHS policies and proceduresFor a full copy of the position description, please click visit our website at www.taswater.com.auWhat we''re looking forWere seeking an experienced procurement professional who can contribute to effective sourcing, contract management, and stakeholder engagement. To be successful in this role, you will have:Procurement or other related qualifications in procurement with notable (experience at least three years) in a similar role OR possessing solid procurement experience from multiple roles over four or more yearsExperience in planning, preparing, managing and evaluating RFXs (request for tenders, quotes, etc)Experience in planning, preparing, negotiating and finalising contracts for execution in both op-ex and cap-ex settingsExperience with the AS suite of contracts will be well regarded but is not essentialStrong analytical, problem-solving, and project coordination skillsSolid oral and written communication skills together with excellent interpersonal skills, including an ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to support business needsProficiency in Microsoft Office, procurement and purchasing systems, and data analysis tools.Why TasWater?Across our multi-disciplinary organisation, we are serious about enhancing the skills and careers of our team members. Relocation support may be negotiated for successful interstate candidates. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
