This cadetship allows you to commence work with us as a student, learn the ropes, and transition seamlessly into your 2026 graduate year with our team.About Us:Thrive Childrens Therapy is a family-centred clinic dedicated to providing therapy services to children aged 2-18 years and their families. We pride ourselves on our supportive team, career progression opportunities, and our neuroaffirmative approach.The chosen applicant/s would be joining our established team of five speech pathologists.Part-time, Casual, and Full-time cadetship positions available.Transition into early career roles upon graduation.Join our friendly, dynamic, and inclusive team of Speech Pathologists.Competitive salary, unlimited PD budget, regular supervision and mentoring, and paid birthday leave.Your Role:As a cadet, you will have the opportunity to work towards the following skills, ready for your graduate year:Complete Communication and Literacy Assessments for the paediatric population.Plan and implement programs for children/adolescents aged 2-18.Conduct 1:1 and paired therapy sessions, including Telehealth as required.Complete NDIS assessments, goal setting, and planning interventions.Collaborate with a wider allied health team.Provide parent training as needed.Enthusiastic about a career with the paediatric population.Passionate about advocating for neurodiversity affirming practices.Willingness to learn about funding structures (Medicare and NDIS).Knowledge or willingness to learn about disability, learning differences, language disorders, Autism services, and child development.Completing your final year in a recognised degree in Speech Pathology.Current Police Check and Working with Children''s Check.Registration with Speech Pathology Australia.Why Choose Us?We offer a well-resourced clinic with full administrative and managerial support, allowing you to focus on your professional growth and providing the best care for our clients.
