Container Deposit Operator Permanent Full-TimeValmar Support Services is a not-for-profit organisation that aims to provide quality support services to people with disabilities, the frail aged and other disadvantaged members of the community to enable them to participate and integrate in the community.A permanent full-time vacancy exists for a motivated Container Deposit Operator, who will join our team and make a positive difference to people with a disability within Valmars Business Services team in Tumut.The successful applicants must be willing to undertake a NDIS Worker Check (NDISWC) and hold an Australian Drivers Licence. It is desirable that you have a current First Aid Certificate and hold or willing to undertake training towards a Certificate III or IV in Community Services. Also desirable, Forklift and HR licence, experience in timber processing, recycling or FOGO, ability to operate a loader & skid steer mobile plant, previous experience in the disability industry.Essential:Willingness to work across all Business Services including Timber Mill, Recycling and FOGOWilling to complete a medicalBe prepared to work weekends upon request or part of a fixed rosterWork as part of a teamCommitment to working with employees with a disabilityMechanical experience or skillsEfficient computer skillsWhy join our team?
