Administration Officer - Mater Cancer Care CentreApply now Job no: 503544Work type: CasualLocation: South BrisbaneCategories: AdministrationAbout the roleThe Mater Hospital Administration team has an opportunity available for an experienced Administration Officer to join their team supporting the Mater Cancer Care Centre as well as the Infusions and Dialysis clinics. This is a casual position.Provide exceptional customer service to patients and clientsBook and manage outpatient appointmentsRegister and update patient details in iPMInvoice/receipt patients in Totalcare and using HICAPSManage phone calls from patients and clinical staff taking a variety of enquiriesMaintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality, complying with administration, and financial policy and procedures. Maintaining accurate, current and accessible filesProvide administrative assistance to senior admin staff and others as requestedAbout youTo be successful in this role you will meet the following in the following:Ability to work autonomously as well as in a teamAbility to learn and retain a lot of information quickly (this position will be working across all receptions listed above)Flexible and adaptableHigh level of customer service, verbal and written communication skillsAbility to multitask, organise and prioritise work effectively within a busy, fast-paced and demanding environmentHighly developed time management and organisational skillsStrong computer skills including competence in Administration systems (and the ability to quickly learn new systems)Ability to use programs such as Outlook, Word and ExcelMater is Queenslands largest not-for-profit healthcare provider, delivering exceptional care to nearly 700,000 patients each year across 11 (soon to be 12) hospitals.
