Were seeking a dedicated Rural Generalist Physiotherapist to join the Limestone Coast Local Health Network (LCLHN). This 12-month opportunity offers a diverse caseload split across the Emergency Department/Short Stay Unit (0.5 FTE) and Inpatient Setting (0.5 FTE) . Please note, this is not an extended scope of practice role , but an opportunity to apply and develop your skills within standard physiotherapy practice.Key Responsibilities:Plan, deliver, and evaluate a wide range of physiotherapy services using generalist and/or specialist clinical knowledge.Work under reduced clinical direction and contribute to multidisciplinary care teams focused on preventative, therapeutic, and rehabilitative outcomes.Provide physiotherapy interventions within subacute services using evidence-based rehabilitation frameworks.Support less experienced allied health professionals, Allied Health Assistants, and students through clinical supervision and mentorship.Ensure patient care aligns with established models of care, health outcomes, and functional improvement goals.What We Are Looking For:A recognised qualification in Physiotherapy and current registration (or eligibility) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).Completion of a two-year Master''s program with a related allied health undergraduate degree, or at least two years of post-graduate experience with demonstrated AHP2-level competencies.Proven ability to manage complex caseloads independently and collaboratively.Strong commitment to rural and community-focused health service delivery.See role description for qualifications.Why Join Us?Make a real difference and feel like an important part of the community.
