You will be responsible for enforcing Council policies and statutory responsibilities, preparing statements of evidence, liaising with our solicitors and representing Council where court action is required for breaches of legislation.An ideal candidate will have strong customer service and well-developed problem solving skills.EssentialQualifications and experienceRelevant local government experience in a similar capacityCurrent class C driver''s licenceClearance of National Police Check.DesirableUnderstanding of the profession and the role of local governmentKnowledge of relevant issues and applicable legislation/regulationsDemonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.Remuneration And BenefitsThe salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Councils Enterprise Agreement.Entry level for this position starts at $1,315.70 per week76-hour working fortnightRostered Day Off (RDO) every fortnightLeaseback vehicleEmployee benefits such as leave entitlements (where applicable), 12% employer contribution payable to your nominated superannuation fund, Fitness Passport, gym membership discounts, and social clubs.Our commitment to safetyBlacktown City Council is committed to safety.
