The project is expected to generate 2,000 jobs during the construction phase, whilst delivering sustained benefits to the local community through career, training and business opportunities.Clough currently has an opportunity for a qualified and experienced Civil QC Inspector to join our team on site. The Civil QC Inspector will be responsible for ensuring that all civil and structural works meet the projects quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements. This includes day-to-day inspection, documentation, and reporting of civil construction activities.Who weareWe area pioneering project delivery company. These are just a few words that describe you.Your focus willinclude:Monitor and verify compliance with project specifications, international standards (e.g., API, ASTM, ACI, ISO), and client-specific quality plans.Witness and review material testing (e.g., concrete compressive strength, soil compaction, aggregate quality).Prepare inspection reports, Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and follow up on corrective actions.Review and verify contractors Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and Method Statements.Participate in quality audits and site walkdowns.Coordinate with construction, engineering, and HSE teams to resolve quality issues.Ensure quality records are properly maintained and organized for handover and final documentation.What you will bring to the team:Diploma or Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field.Minimum [7+] years of relevant experience in civil construction, preferably in the oil and gas industry.Solid understanding of international codes and standards (e.g., ACI, ASTM, API, ISO 9001).Familiarity with project quality control procedures and documentation practices.Experience working with EPC contractors or within large-scale industrial projects is a plus.Strong attention to detail, communication, and reporting skills.Ability to work in remote locations or under rotational schedules as required.Certification in quality management (e.g., CSWIP, ISO 9001 Auditor, or equivalent) is an advantage.Ability to work a 19:9 FIFO rotation to site.Our benefitsWe have created an environment that brings out the best in our people.
