As part of the Governance and Risk Management portfolio, you will contribute to a transparent, consistent, and accountable framework that underpins the Universitys operationssupporting teaching, research, and administration.This is a strategically important role that combines high-level advisory responsibilities with hands-on implementation. You will develop and deliver risk and compliance frameworks, manage registers and reporting, and provide specialist advice across the University. Your work will help embed a culture of informed risk-taking, ethical decision-making, and legislative compliance across all levels of the organisation.Working closely with stakeholders across the University community, you will help drive continuous improvement through training, assessments, control evaluations, and collaborative initiatives that build resilience and ensure operational integrity.You Will:Develop and implement risk and compliance frameworks, including undertaking risk assessments and recommending mitigation strategies for key University initiatives;Provide expert advice and guidance to business units to support compliance with regulatory, contractual, and policy obligations; andMaintain and monitor the Universitys risk and compliance registers, and coordinate reporting to senior management and governance committees.About YouYou are an experienced and detail-oriented professional who understands the importance of a well-governed, compliant, and risk-aware institution.
