Seeking an experienced mine controller to join a leading tier 1 mining company with career growth potential.WorkPac are seeking a Mine Controller to join our leading Mining Client for a casual position for an immediate start. This position role will have 12.5-hour shifts, supporting a 24/7 Operation via a remote operations centre. Successful candidates will be required to work a rotating roster including Day, Night, Weekend and Public holiday work, following a potential roster pattern of 5/5/4 - 5 days on, 5 days off, 4 nights on, 5 days off, 2 days/3nights, 4 days off.What you will be doingYou will be tasked with monitoring and managing mining equipment from a central control room, coordinating haulage, responding to system alerts and operational issues, maintaining communication with on-site personnel, ensuring production targets and using specialised software and control systems remotely.Your duties will also include:Strong commitment to safetyOperation of fleet management systems with a range of multiple fleet types and targetsEngage with key stakeholders to enhance daily, weekly and monthly targets and strategiesEffective administration and information collatingComply with business fatigue management and drug and alcohol policesWhat You Will NeedPrior Mining/Experience in Mine Operations control room environment (Preferred), or similar exposure in Fleet or Logistics Environments, or high-volume operational environments (Logistics, Warehousing or Aviation)Fleet Management System experience is advantageousUnderstanding of service delivery and value chain impactsAbility to multitask and identify risksEfficient activation of emergency response and coordination or other high pressure critical tasks.Continuous improvement and collaborative mindsetHold a current drivers licence and have reliable transportLive within 45 minutes of the city locationWhats in it for youWork with a tier 1 mining companyApply now!About WorkPacWorkPac is Australias largest privately owned workforce solutions business.
