This major project will see construction of 8km of single lane highway with approximately 2.5 km of bridge structures and upgrades to local intersections. This diverse and challenging project has a 2 year construction program ensuring longevity in your role and presenting opportunities to grow within the business.For this project, we are looking for a Quality Engineer to provide support to establish quality and completion systems and controls to successfully deliver the project.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with the establishment of Project Plans and proceduresLiaise with stakeholders to resolve issues relating to quality and completion.Assist with the development of asset registers and liaising with stakeholders to obtain the respective approvals from relevant representatives.Liaise with auditors and ensure the execution of corrective actions is put in place.Monitor the completion of quality records.Assist with the establishment of quality and completion performance reports.Ensure compliance with all quality standards and legislation.Required Skills And CompetenciesTertiary Qualification in Civil engineering or related disciplineExperience with Quality Management Systems in accordance with ISO 9000Prior experience in a similar role on a large infrastructure projectBuild and maintain stakeholder relationshipsExcellent communication and problem-solving mindsetAdvanced Microsoft Suite skills (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)ACCIONA has been given the Top Employer 2022, 2023, 2024 & 2025 certification in Australia, which certifies the company''s commitment to excellence in human resources management and those who focus on putting their people first through their exceptional HR policies.
