We serve farriers and horse owners worldwide with a complete line of hoofcare products designed to perform.Position OverviewThe Maintenance Lead supports the Maintenance Supervisor and department in ensuring facilities systems and equipment installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair for horseshoe manufacturing and distribution operations. This position also supports the maintenance department with planning activities related to the preventive maintenance program, assists with support for the spare part purchasing process, oversees spare part inventory, and operates the CMMS software M-Pulse. The maintenance lead demonstrates Mustad values, showing respect for and engagement with co-workers, especially as they contribute to quality products and organizationalEssential Job Functions (required duties and responsibilities)To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.Assists the Maintenance Supervisor in leading a team of technicians with the installation, maintenance, and repairs of facility equipment and systems, as well as maintaining buildings and grounds, following all safety protocols and SOP regulations and procedures, including the Mustad Performance System (MPS).Assists with training, coaching, and monitoring of technicians, as well as supporting the production team in providing feedback for process improvement, failure analysis, and problem resolution.Ensure all hazardous materials are properly labelled, stored, and handled properly and that all Safety Data Sheets (SDS) are maintained and updated for facilities as required.Plan activities related to the preventive maintenance program, support the spare part purchasing process, oversee spare part inventory, and operate the CMMS software M-Pulse for gathering all maintenance activities.
