With over two decades of experience, AMSANT plays a vital leadership role in policy development, capacity building, workforce support, and sector coordination. Reporting to the Deputy Chief Executive Officer, the Finance Manager will lead AMSANTs financial strategy, ensuring transparency, compliance, and clarity for the organisation, funding bodies, and the board.More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:Leading AMSANTs financial planning and reporting functionsSupporting managers in preparing and maintaining project budgetsPreparing monthly financial reports and presenting to the board and FRACManaging audits, cash flow forecasts, term deposit investments and reconciliationsMaintaining a funding compliance register and statutory financial obligations (GST, BAS, FBT)Supervising a small finance team and providing cross-organisational financial supportCollaborating with the CEO/DCEO to advise on strategic financial decisionsEnsuring AMSANTs financial procedures and policies meet best practice standardsTo qualify, you will need tertiary qualifications in Accounting and be amember of CPA Australia or Chartered Accountants ANZ.
