The Star Gold Coast is where relaxation seamlessly intertwines with thrilling entertainment.As a HR Business Partner, reporting to the General Manager People Operations, you will collaborate closely with The Star Gold Coasts operational leaders and align them to the wider people strategy, as well as lead the Employee Relations function for the property.This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved in an exciting transformation of our business, reshaping how we operate between centralised and decentralised models. In this hands on role, you will have one direct report, and play a pivotal role in performance management and all aspects of the employee lifecycle, ensuring regulatory and governance requirements are met. You will also collaborate closely with the broader People Operations team to drive impactful change.A few of your responsibilitiesConduct regular meetings with leaders to offer advice and support all people requirementsOversee and manage Employee Relations support to the property, providing guidance on Employee Relations matters, policies and complex people mattersPartnering with stakeholders to understand business needs, supporting organisational change and driving key People initiativesCoach, develop, and empower leaders, educating them on ways of working and with various tools and aidesManage and support on various projects and change managementWhat we will be looking forProven experience in a similar HR Business Partner role in a dynamic and fast-paced environmentSolid knowledge of Employee Relations including current workplace legislations, industrial instruments (Enterprise Agreements an advantage) and relevant regulationsTertiary qualification in Human Resources, Psychology or Organisational DevelopmentStrong relationship-building, coaching, influencing, and communication skillsA proactive partnering approach, driven by a self-starter mindset and a positive, can-do attitudeAbout youA seasoned professional, you are a natural collaborator and communicator, who is curious and able to explain complex business requirements and strategy. You thrive working in highly regulated work environment and can successfully juggle multiple tasks and responsibilities.
