The successful candidate will be working on projects, predominately based across South East QLD. This is a full-time position which requires a high calibre individual with a strong track record of On-Site experience.If you have a hands-on approach, a strong background in a diverse range of civil and infrastructure projects and have credibility gained from successfully completing civil projects then we would love to hear from you!About The RoleThe duties of the supervisor roles will be refined for the various level of supervisor that is required, however the general expectations will be:Conducting site inspections to ensure quality and safety outcomesBe responsible for co-ordinating subcontractors onsiteManaging a workforce of supervision, labour and subcontractorsYou will need to work autonomously at times and also coordinate internal and external resourcesEnsure projects are completed on time, within budget and to our high standardsMaintain and communication regular program updates to the project team and subcontractorsMaintain daily records and diaries, and assist the engineering team with cost control and productivity trackingCo-ordinate the relationships between various trades and ensure that sub-contractors carry work out safely and efficientlyLiaise with clients and stakeholders in a professional manner to maintain Alder''s strong reputationParticipate in regular WHS inspections and injury/incident investigations and maintain a healthy and safe work environmentEnsure environmental controls are suitable and implemented, monitored and reviewed.Review, understand and have input to all subcontractor and supplier scope of works.Organise completion of defect works in a timely manner.Participate in lesson learnt sessions to continuously improve the performance of the overall company teamAbout You - Skills And ExperienceA proven history of working alongside a team of engineers, but also has the ability to manage a site with minimal input.Extensive experience in civil construction (3 years minimum experience in a similar role)Solid foundation in typical civil works including earthworks, flexible and rigid pavements, buried services and infrastructural, formed structural concrete, landscaping and other unique civil and infrastructure type projectsBe competent in understanding, reviewing and working to project Drawings and SpecificationsA person who is enthusiastic, self-motivated and quality driven with a focus also on cost controlRelevant civil background and competenciesExcellent communication skills - both oral and writtenWillingness to lead and motivate team membersCommitment and understanding of the importance of time and financial goalsGood computer/ mobile device skills for daily use of Programs & Apps (e.g. Procore)About The BusinessIf you are looking for a role which is exciting, offers stability and allows you to have exposure to different projects then this could be the role for you!
