Job Description

RoadTek Central Queensland (Rockhampton) is seeking a Project Manager (Structures) to support their operations unit on a permanent basis. In this role, you will provide engineering input to design, construction, and maintenance activities within the business unit, working with a team delivering major improvements for customers and communities in the region. RoadTek is a commercial business within the Department of Transport & Main Roads, providing transport infrastructure solutions across Queensland. In this role, you will manage construction and/or maintenance activities to ensure quality, economy, and safety standards are met, and project outcomes are achieved. You will also provide technical advice to subordinate staff to ensure standards and efficiencies are maintained. Mandatory Qualifications and Conditions Criminal history check required due to access to sensitive data. Valid Queensland C class drivers license or equivalent. Willingness to travel across the State as per industry standards. A Washington Accord accredited four-year degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent recognized by Engineers Australia. Desirable Requirements Diploma in Project Management and accredited Frontline Management qualification (highly desirable). Previous experience in road construction or maintenance industry.
