Their responsibilities encompass ensuring safety measures are upheld, optimising resource utilisation for efficiency and maintaining compliance with industry regulations culminating in the delivery of high-quality outcomes.WHAT HICKORY CAN OFFERWork-Life Balance: Enjoy a balanced work-life schedule with a standard 5-day work week.Family-Friendly Policies: Receive paid parental leave to support your family needs.Novated Leases: Take advantage of novated leasing options to maximize your salary and enjoy tax savings on vehicle expenses.Employee Wellbeing: Access our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for valuable support and resources.Expert In-House Team: Collaborate with our dedicated structures and facades team.Diverse Opportunities: Gain exposure to a wide range of roles and industry leaders in our leading market company.RESPONSIBILITIESManage Daily Site Programming: Oversee the execution of daily site work in alignment with the Hickory construction program.Collaborative Project Oversight: Work closely with the Site Manager, Project Manager, Project Coordinator, and project team to plan and continually assess project progress.Resource Optimization: Efficiently manage site resources, including labor, machinery, materials, and subcontractors, to ensure timely project completion.Equipment Accountability: Ensure the prompt return of all hired-in equipment upon task completion.Documentation Management: Expedite the delivery of relevant documents from clients or authorities to the Project Manager.Variation Identification: Identify and document any potential contract variations, promptly notifying the Project Manager or Construction Manager.Quality Control: Enforce Hickory''s quality control systems among site staff.Safety Compliance: Monitor site safety compliance, ensuring the use of appropriate safety equipment and promptly reporting unsafe conditions to the HSEQ Manager or Safety Representative.Team Development: Provide coaching and mentorship to direct reports to foster their professional growth.Delegation and Communication: Delegate tasks effectively to direct reports, ensuring clear communication for successful task execution.Industrial Harmony: Take necessary measures to maintain a harmonious working environment on site at all times.Training Participation: Actively engage in on-the-job training to support the development of team members.TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLEMinimum of 5 years of experience in a Site Supervisor/Foreman role in the commercial construction industry.Preferred experience in the construction of data centers.Possession of a degree in Building and Construction or a related field.Proficient time management skills to ensure efficient project execution.Strong abilities in negotiation and the establishment of meaningful professional relationships.Excellent verbal and written communication skills coupled with strong leadership capabilities.Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve complex challenges effectively.If this sounds like your next opportunity, we would love to hear from you as soon as possible!
