This is your opportunity to work with some of Australia''s largest organisations in various industries including, government agencies and corporate organisations.About The RoleThe Purpose of this role is to provide Rapid Response Services (including critical incidents, planned support service, rapid connect, disaster response and incident support forums) using the primary intervention models of Psychological First Aid, stepped care and referral pathways, to support Converge Internationals customers during an incident or organisational change, and informing the organisations of themes, recommendations, or any internal (customer) process improvements. This role may also include the delivery of EAP and Training and Consulting Services.We are seeking motivated and experienced registered Psychologists and Social Workers to provide critical incident and crisis counselling support to our client organisations. Using Psychological First Aid (PFA) and other trauma specific interventions and approaches to support individuals and their organisations through providing one-on-one trauma support and group sessions.About YouExperience in providing psychosocial interventions, support and counselling.Relevant experience and minimum 3 years trauma management and/or relevant consultancy servicesDemonstrated ability to assess workplace issues, identify suitable intervention programs and provide solution- focused advice to achieve agreed outcomesHave a passion to help people and enjoy working flexibly in a fast-paced environmentExcellent time management skills, report writing skills and your willingness to demonstrate a can do attitudeDemonstrated ability and experience in delivering People Assist services (EAP, RRS).High level negotiation and facilitation skillsWork collaboratively with all stakeholdersOur Commitment To YouCompetitive remunerationVolunteer leavePaid parental leavePurchasing of additional leaveFlexible working arrangementsFlexible, diverse and challenging workRegular clinical supervisionAccess to training and professional developmentCareer development through internal mobilityLifestyle discounts Discounted movie tickets, retail discounts and much more3-5 years of relevant experience as a psychologist or social worker is desirable and you will be trained in Psychological First Aid. A tertiary qualification in Behavioural Sciences and registration with the appropriate professional body is required.
