This role is based in Ringwood and reports to the Head of Web and Digital.In this pivotal role, you will lead the design, development, and continuous optimisation of our digital presenceensuring it is accessible, engaging, and aligned with the needs of the communities we support. With a strong emphasis on Drupal-based website development, UX-led design, and data-informed decision making, youll play a key role in transforming how users experience our employment, training, and workforce development programs online.About youYou are a strategic, hands-on digital professional with a strong background in user experience and web development. You bring a passion for accessible, data-driven design and the ability to lead digital projects from concept to delivery. To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate:4+ years experience in digital UX roles, with a strong design portfolio showcasing UX design and thinking.Expertise in Drupal CMS, including site configuration, theming, and content optimisation.Strong proficiency with UX research, accessibility (WCAG 2.1+), and customer journey mapping.Skilled in prototyping and design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Axure.Solid understanding of front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) and responsive design.Experience using Google Analytics, SEO best practices, and digital performance optimisation.Ability to translate user research into actionable design improvements and strategies.Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills across technical and non-technical teams.Familiarity with Agile or iterative methodologies for digital delivery.A collaborative mindset, with the ability to manage competing deadlines while maintaining quality and consistency.MEGT is committed to providing services that protect and keep children, young people and adults at risk free from harm as we have zero tolerance of racism, discrimination, harm, or abuse.
