By joining our program, you will play a vital role in supporting communities in need while gaining valuable professional and personal experience.Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:Delivering safe, effective, and person-centred nursing care within your scope of practiceAssisting in the implementation of nursing care plans in collaboration with the broader healthcare teamMonitoring patient condition and reporting changes to the Registered Nurse or medical staffMaintaining accurate and timely clinical documentationSupporting patient education and engagement in care planningPromoting and maintaining a safe, respectful, and culturally sensitive environmentAdapting to a variety of clinical settings, often with limited resources, in rural and remote communitiesCurrent and unrestricted registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an Enrolled NurseA minimum of three (3) years full-time equivalent clinical experience as an Enrolled NurseEvidence of a minimum of 250 hours of relevant clinical experience within the past 12 months, supported by a certificate of employment or payslips clearly identifying the positionCurrent Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including a practical assessment componentAbility to remain calm and operate effectively in unstructured, rapidly changing environments.What we offer:Competitive daily pay ratesFlexible locum contracts and placement optionsPaid travel, accommodation, and meals while on placementOpportunities to explore regional and remote AustraliaThe chance to make a meaningful impact where your skills are needed mostApply now!If you meet the above eligibility criteria and are interested in making a meaningful contribution to rural and remote healthcare, we encourage you to apply.Should your application meet the program requirements, a member of our credentialing team will be in contact to discuss the next steps.Aspen Medical values diversity and inclusion and encourages applications from all backgrounds, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, LGBTQIA+ communities, and those from diverse cultural backgrounds.
