And we want you to grow with us ignite your curiosity and your commitment to your career with us.Purpose of roleThis is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join a supportive, close-knit team in a growing organisation. Youll work closely with managers across all functions to align people strategies with business goals.In this varied role, youll act as a trusted advisor on a wide range of HR matters, champion employee engagement, and lead change initiatives in line with the Devro Strategy.If youre confident, collaborative, and passionate about building strong relationships and driving positive change, we would love to hear from you.What youll be doing:Leading day-to-day HR operations, ensuring timely and effective support to managers and employees.Partnering with regional and global HR teams to implement our People Strategy.Advising and coaching managers on HR policies, employment law, and employee relations.Building strong relationships across the business to boost engagement, morale, and retention.Managing HRs relationship with Trade Unions, including regular meetings and annual bargaining.Staying up to date with employment legislation to ensure compliance and reduce risk.Supporting performance management, including coaching, development, and disciplinary processes.Coordinating with Talent Acquisition to manage local recruitment needs.Overseeing the maintenance of key HR documentation.Supporting global reward processes such as annual pay reviews and incentive schemes.Partnering with Payroll and Finance to ensure accurate and timely processing of payrollContributing to HR initiatives, learning programs, engagement strategies, and budget management.About youEssentialProven experience in a senior HR role, ideally within a unionised environment.Strong knowledge of Australian employment law and HR best practices.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to apply sound judgment in complex situations.Excellent coaching and relationship-building skills.A proactive, hands-on approach with a passion for people and continuous improvement.DesirableFurther/higher education in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline, with previous experience in HR management.Experience of working in a unionised workplace would be highly advantageous.Prior experience in a manufacturing environment would be beneficial.Proficient in Word, Excel and Powerpoint.What do we offerCompetitive salary and benefitsGenerous holiday entitlementA professional and supportive working environmentOpportunity for learning and developmentIf this position is of interest, we would love to hear from you.
