Our clients include farmers, agronomists, rural retailers, and research organizations across Australia.4 months fixed term with potential extensionImmediate startLocation: Burleigh Heads, QueenslandAs a Sample Preparation Officer, you will ensure samples are received, sorted, prepared, packed, and dispatched efficiently to meet operational, customer, and quality standards.This autonomous role involves:Receiving samples from walk-ins and PO boxesVerifying client details and test requirementsDrying samples in ovensGrinding soil and plant samples as neededPacking samples and organizing courier pickups via an online portalMeeting courier deadlinesWorking efficiently in a fast-paced sample receipt and preparation environmentAdhering to correct methods, procedures, and work instructionsWhat we are looking for:Physically fit and comfortable with manual tasksAttention to detail and ability to follow proceduresStrong numeracy and communication skillsOrganizational skills and ability to multi-taskDeadline-oriented mindsetExperience in a commercial laboratory is advantageous but not required.
