Global Key Accounts (GKA) Industry & Mining team is a strategic contributor to the More Industrial Pillar of the Global Lubricants Strategy. In this exciting Key Account Manager (KAM) Mining role, you will be responsible for developing Shells lubricants business with major mining companies worldwide, with a focus on the APAC region, especially Australia where significant mineral reserves are located. You will support the GKA Mining Sector Lead in developing and executing strategies to grow Shells business with the top 10 global mining companies in APAC and build a strong pipeline. The role requires close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders and delivering through others, primarily via indirect channels such as macro-distributors. What you bring Success in this role requires: A strong commercial mindset with experience managing large customers and complex deals. Experience in the mining sector or related industries. Excellent stakeholder management skills at various organizational levels. Ability to drive business delivery and innovation, meeting targets through collaboration and innovative thinking. Leadership and coaching capabilities, promoting commercial excellence and team performance. Commitment to HSSE & compliance, promoting safety and legal adherence. Strong relationship-building skills with senior stakeholders. Personal attributes including passion, resilience, positivity, and independence, with the ability to work remotely and manage uncertainty. This role involves approximately 30% travel within APAC, mainly Australia, including mine sites. Flexibility is essential due to varying peak periods and business needs.
