The ICU RISE program prepares Registered Nurses for the beginner level of specialty practice in the Intensive Care Unit. The program is designed to advance clinical practice by providing evidence-based theoretical and practical training alongside supported clinical practice. This can be a pathway for considered entry into the Graduate Certificate in Intensive Care.About The ProgramOpen to Registered Nurses with at least one-year of acute clinical experienceThis is a twelve-month program, commencing with a six-month education program followed by six-months of consolidation in the clinical settingInternal program with no associated feesOffers theoretical and practical education, clinical exposure and supervision to advance your knowledge and clinical skills within the critical care setting, and develop critical thinking and problem-solving skillsParticipants will learn and apply fundamental concepts of ICU nursing through participation in study days and online learning modules, completion of a clinical practice portfolio, and supported clinical practice.For further information about the ICU RISE program please visit: RISE Program | The RMHGraduate Certificate of Intensive Care Nursing- Deakin UniversityThe Graduate Certificate of Intensive Care Nursing is provided through a partnership between RMH ICU and Deakin University. This program is designed to provide nurses with the theoretical concepts, clinical skills, and experience required to become competent and professional clinical practitioner within the ICU.
