Were looking for a dedicated Grain Protection Officer to join our Kwinana North team, on a full-time basis.In this frontline role, youll play a key part in carrying out and overseeing grain protection and fumigation activities across the region. No prior experience or licences in fumigation or pesticide application are required CBH provides full training and support to help you gain the skills and certifications needed to succeed.This role requires movement between the Receival sites in Area 6 which includes Koorda, Dowerin, Wyalkatchem, Cadoux, Kalannie and Goodlands. You may also be required to work outside this area from time to time, depending on operational needs.Roster: Monday to Friday (40 hours) with additional overtime during our peak periodsKey responsibilities:Carry out grain fumigations following relevant proceduresAssist to maintain the life of phosphine, recognise and respond to possible contaminations from insects, rodents, birds and other external threats to reduce or remove the risk in the areaReport on pesticide stock and fumigation activities including weed control programs, wash-down programs,the implementation of rodent and feral bird control programs, and storage integrity checksAssist Grain Technology inverifying activities to ensure adherence to all relevant regulations, standards and codes of practicesAssist with Receival Points Operator duties, includingreceiving, storing and outloading grain, in addition to operating and maintaining storage facilities in an efficient and hygienic mannerAbout you:A strong dedication towards prioritising safetyWillingness to learn to become fully licenced in all aspects of Grain ProtectionWillingness to become an expert inFumigation including Dangerous Goods Management and Pesticide safety activities.A high degree attention to detailPossess a valid drivers licence (MR/ HR licence advantageous)Why work with CBH?A good bunch of peopleWe are powered by a good bunch of people who genuinely make CBH a good place to work.
