Look no further! We are seeking an individual with a strong work ethic to join our team as a Field Service Engineer in Brisbane, Queensland. In this role, you will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding service to our esteemed customers, including performing preventative maintenance, repairs, warranty work, field modifications, installations, commissioning, bench repair, and telephone technical support. Your commitment and technical expertise will greatly contribute to maintaining the high standards of service we provide within the medical industry.Please note that this a field based role and may require you to be available to work after hours on a regular basis, and domestic travel may be required from time to time.Responsibilities:Perform necessary repairs and preventive maintenance on designated equipment in a professional and customer-focused mannerEnsure all repairs are attended to satisfactorily within the required timeframeProvide technical assistance, including PC and/or systems-based products, via telephone or at customer sitesPrepare quotations for equipment repair and evaluation for warranty repairAssess and report on product performance, faults, and make recommendations for improvementEnsure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practicesPerform test equipment calibration and maintain all required documentationClean and functionally check all demo products before sending them to customer sites for evaluationEnsure workshop tools and test equipment are in good order and within calibration.Key Requirements:Tertiary degree in Electronics / Biomedical Engineering /Electronics or related fields (Recent Graduates encouraged to apply)Hold QLD REL (restricted electrical licence) or eligible to get oneSolid technical experience in an electro-mechanical and/or electrical fieldPrevious experience in the healthcare industry would be ideal, but not necessaryUnderstanding of servicing to Australia Standard AS3551Valid and unrestricted Driver''s license with access to a vehicleExceptional communication and relationship-building skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesThis role will be subject to Working with Children checks and background checks.Why Baxter?At Baxter ANZ, we are focused on being a Best Place to Work where our people can be their authentic self, feel valued and respected.
