To continue growing together, we are looking for a Payroll Specialist to join our People & Culture team in a Part-Time capacity with hybrid working options!Be a leader of an exciting project to transition our payroll systems from an outsourced payroll provider to an in-house system! This pivotal position will play a key role in shaping Gransolars payroll operations during this implementation project and further into the future for the company, making a meaningful impact on the business.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesPayroll ManagementOversee outsourced payroll until the transition is complete (expected go-live: July 2025).Manage four payrolls (fortnightly and monthly), encompassing 250 employees across three businesses and multiple states.Compliance & ReportingEnsure payroll operations align with company policies, auditing procedures, and legislation.Manage ATO and superannuation payments with full compliance.Handle end-of-month payroll reporting and ad-hoc reporting as required.Employee SupportRespond to payroll inquiries from employees and managers, ensuring clear and timely resolutions.Manage novated leasing for employees, including setup, calculations, and liaising with leasing companies.Oversee time and attendance requirements for the fortnightly blue-collar workforce.Skills & Experience Required:Minimum 5 years'' experienceEmployment Hero system experience would be advantageous but not essentialPrevious experience in a multi-site/project/heavy industry organisation highly desirable;An ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously;A high attention to detail with good organisational skills;Ability to communicate effectively;Ability to maintain confidentialityWhy Join Us?Gransolar Group is more than an industry leaderwere a team driven by innovation, sustainability, and support.
