This position is part-time, working a minimum of 50hrs/fortnight which provides a great work life balance. The successful candidate will participate in a Monday-Friday roster.This role will support the Commercial Manager with provision of financial services for the hospital including:Assist in preparation of month-end financial resultDaily banking and reconciliationSAP debtor invoicing / managementVendor invoice managementFinancial reportingManagement of property leases and assetsTravel facilitationOversight and interpretation of commercial agreementsAssist in ad hoc projects and analysis and assist with and add value to projects on day-to-day duties and processesTo succeed in this role, you will bringTertiary degree in Accounting or Finance (or substantial experience in this field)Experience in SAP, Meditech and Microsoft Office software applicationsStrong knowledge of accounting operations - Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, and General LedgerAbility to work autonomously and within a team environmentFlexibility to adapt to change within daily activitiesAbility to manage workloads within time constraint ensuring accuracyAbility to manage expectations, communicate clearly and ensure that issues are escalated and managed appropriatelyAbility to build and maintain positive, productive relationships with each key internal and external stakeholderBenefitsProfessional Advancement: Recognition and Professional Development.
