Join us as we contribute to this significant transition in the energy sector.About The RoleThe Sustainability Analyst is responsible for supporting the delivery of AEMOs sustainability strategy and reporting, including the development of systems and processes that enable strategic insights and the delivery of our internal and external sustainability reporting suite that meets new and emerging climate disclosure and sustainability reporting requirements.This involves supporting a wide range of projects and relationships internally and externally with the goal of demonstrating AEMOs sustainability efforts to our customers, team members, communities, investors, industry and other key stakeholders. To succeed in this role, it is essential you have a strong background in corporate sustainability (or similar fields) and are proficient in the management and delivery of projects with desired experience in sustainability project management.What You Will Be DoingSupport the development and implementation of AEMOs sustainability strategy, tailoring in response to changing internal and external conditions in close coordination with the Sustainability Lead and Management.Be a subject matter expert on AEMOs sustainability program, including our responses to growing external trends and stakeholder expectations so we remain an industry leaderCollaborate with business units to help operationalise the sustainability strategy; assist to deliver programs to meet sustainability targets and business objectivesSupport the delivery of sustainability reporting and disclosures in line with ASRS, GRI, and other relevant frameworksSupport the development and implementation of processes to capture key information such as Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions data, and climate change-related risk and scenario analysis data.Help design systems and reports to automate data collection and minimise duplication of effort in managing ESG data.
