Our values are Integrity, Respect, Honesty, Loyalty, Caring, and Empathy.Purpose Of The RoleThe Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of facility and grounds maintenance to ensure a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines trade expertise with team coordination and strategic asset management.Key Responsibilities Facilities & Grounds Maintenance Tool, Asset, and Compliance Management Team Collaboration & CommunicationLeadership & PlanningLead and supervise the maintenance team, contractors, and external trades.Develop and manage the sites maintenance schedules and preventative programs.Ensure compliance with WHS regulations, aged care standards, and organisational policies.Monitor maintenance budgets and contribute to strategic planning for capital works and asset upgrades.Oversee the upkeep of buildings, plant, and equipment to ensure optimal function and safety.Coordinate and conduct general repairs, preventative and corrective maintenance.Ensure timely and effective response to maintenance requests and safety concerns.Maintain the health and appearance of lawns, gardens, and outdoor areas.Maintain an accurate asset register and ensure all maintenance documentation is up to date.Ensure proper use, storage, and maintenance of tools, machinery, and hazardous substances.Lead preparation for accreditation and audits relating to facilities and infrastructure.Foster a culture of safety, respect, and teamwork within the maintenance team.Liaise with clinical and administrative staff to ensure smooth daily operations.Promote the role and function of TCC within the local community, residents, and families.Qualifications And ExperienceTrade qualification or extensive experience in a similar facilities management roleProven leadership and team coordination experienceSound understanding of building compliance, WHS, and asset managementPhysical ability to perform manual tasks and safely operate tools and machineryCurrent drivers licenceStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsBasic computer literacy (email, asset systems, maintenance logs)Understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards (desirable)How To ApplyPlease click on the apply now button or send your resume and/or cover letter to jobs@apollocare.com.au.
