In this role, you will ensure a safe, well-maintained environment where residents receive the highest standard of care, staff feel supported and empowered, and operations run efficiently.With a deep understanding of clinical governance and a keen eye for financial sustainability, you will drive continuous improvement while always prioritizing the well-being of residents and the people who care for them.The Role:Leading the team to provide ongoing professional care and holistic support for residentsMaintain day to day operational performance of the facility including accreditation, financial budgets, staffing, and safetyManage the budgetary requirements of the facilityLead the team, manage staff performance and build a positive culture within the teamEnsure all policies and procedures are implemented and followed, taking a continuous improvement approach whilst adhering to all accreditation standardsRequirements:A minimum of 5 years clinical experience, with ideally 2 years of leadership experience.Full AHPRA registration as a Registered NurseExcellent clinical background along with a comprehensive understanding of the Aged Care Standards.Commercial acumen and solid knowledge of the key business drivers of aged care.Understanding, exposure and management of the Aged Care Funding Instrument, Aged Care Legislation and Facility Accreditation.Ability to foster a safe workplace and drive continuous quality improvement initiatives to develop sustainable practiceOur benefits:RSL LifeCare offers a range of benefits including:Not-for-profit tax benefits - salary packaging of up to $15,900 per year.
