The role of the Project Accountant is to support the AFC Manager and ensure that the management of the project complies with relevant statutory and accounting standards and to work with the Project Management team to ensure reporting is both timely and accurate.Who we areWe are a pioneering project delivery company. These are just a few words that describe you.Your focus will include but is not limited to:Accounting processes comply with IFRS and all other relevant legislation.Accounts Receivable functions and reportingAssist the Accounts Payable function and authorisationsAssist with Cashflow and Daily Bank reporting and reconciliationProfit & Loss and Balance SheetsReconciliation of Subcontractors costMonitor invoices and all cash flow in and out, including cash flow management.ForecastingWhat you will bring to the team:Tertiary qualifications Bachelor of Commerce or Accounting or equivalentMembership of CA or CPA or pursuing5+ years commercial / project finance experienceExperience using SAP is desiredKnowledge of Australian standardsAccounts Payable experienceKnowledge of Upstream/Downstream ClaimAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with conflicting deadlinesWe have created an environment that brings out the best in our people.
