Job Description

My client is a reputable pharmaceutical manufacturer on a global scale.We are seeking a high-performing pharmaceutical logistics manager for one of their facilities based in Adelaide.The work environment is fast-paced, dealing with pharmaceutical products, including some sensitive and controlled substances.The primary role involves liaising with internal and external customers, suppliers, and service providers to ensure the efficient storage, control, and timely movement of materials and finished goods.Lead the Warehouse team, driving efficient storage, order fulfillment, and supply chain optimization. Implement continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance, safety, and high service levels for domestic and international shipments.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and develop warehouse staff to meet KPIs and drive high performance aligned with business objectives.Define and lead Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen projects to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize workflows.Oversee daily processing, packing, dispatch of domestic orders, and international shippingcoordinate with freight forwarders and third-party providers.Manage receipt, quarantine, storage, dispatch, and return of materials and goods; conduct cycle counts and stock reconciliation.Ensure proper documentation, storage, validation, and coordinate with Quality and Regulatory teams on quarantine and release issues, especially for controlled (S8) products.Manage freight agreements; monitor expenses within budget.Liaise with domestic customers and coordinate export documentation and shipping.Manage health, safety, and environmental standardsconduct risk assessments, incident investigations, training, and hazard mitigation.QualificationsProven experience in warehouse leadership within regulated or pharmaceutical industries is essential.Strong background in project management and continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.Proficient in inventory control, logistics documentation, and export/import coordination.Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Solid financial acumen for budget control and cost optimization.Commitment to EHS standards, with experience in risk management and safety protocols.About i-Pharm Consultingi-Pharm Consulting is a specialist recruitment company serving the global pharmaceutical industry.
