Employment Basis: Part/Full time (negotiable for the right applicant)Salary: SCHADS Level 6Position DescriptionThe Funding & Partnerships Manager for Fair Game Australia is responsible for increasing and enhancing the range of opportunities for the Australian community to financially support the work of Fair Game Australia including the development, delivery and review of effective corporate and community fundraising strategies and securing grant funding to build income. The position plays an important role in ensuring that Fair Game can sustainably grow its impact.The role will also provide essential administrative support for Fair Games funding programs, ensuring high standard funding applications and acquittals; liaison with donors to provide a positive and respectful experience; and identifying and nurturing new income opportunities.Your days will all be varied in this role!Our ideal candidate will:thrive on working independently and within a small, dedicated team.have strong communication and advocacy skillshave a strong attention to detail, budgeting, planning and effective prioritisation of tasksvalue collaboration, efficiency, creativity and accountabilitybe values-driven and passionate about making a difference.About Fair GameFair Game is a not-for-profit, Health Promotion Charity who believe that sport and fitness are integral components of a healthy lifestyle and promote physical, mental and social well-being. Our beneficiaries range across underserviced Australian communities including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, CaLD and low socio economic communities and we are always looking to partner with like-minded organisations.Fair Game is a flexible work place and offers salary packaging options.This role will have lots of variety but there will be a few key activities that you will need to undertake, such as:Continually monitoring and executing an agreed strategy to grow philanthropic and corporate sponsorship programsActively seeking out new philanthropic and partnership prospectsManaging and growing currentpartnershipsProviding high quality relationship management for donors, partners, the public and other stakeholdersIdentifying and submitting funding applications in line with strategic goalsDeveloping and implementing a community fundraising strategyWhat success will look like:Strengthening of current funding partnershipsDevelopment of new funding sources in line with Fair Games purposeGrowth of Fair Games funding through philanthropic and corporate sponsorship programsExperience, Capabilities and SkillsDegree in relevant discipline (eg Commerce, Business, PR) or a tertiary degree and relevant business experienceAt least 5+ years experience in the philanthropic or corporate fundraising sector with demonstrable results in fundraising, grant writing, communications, , donor acquisition and management.Demonstrated experience in the successful preparation of funding applications.Demonstrated proficiency in preparing, managing, and reporting on project budgets to support funding and partnership outcomes.Demonstrated experience with related software applications and platforms eg. Online donation platformsHigh level of attention to detail and excellent time managementA flexible approach responsive to changing prioritiesExcellent language, communication (both written and oral) and presentation skillsExcellent interpersonal, organisational, verbal and written communication skillsExcellent presentation and pitching skillsAbility to work effectively in a teamCurrent Australian Drivers LicenseHow to ApplyTo apply please provide your CV and one-page cover letter outlining your how your skills and experience make you suitable for the position.
