A Conference and Events Manager - NT Cluster with Hilton Hotels and Resorts leads and manages both team and commercial performance of the event sales, event planning, groups teams.What will I be doing?As Conference and Events Manager for the NT Cluster of Hotels, you will manage the Conference & Event teams to actively convert customer enquiries into confirmed sales, ensuring exceptional guest experiences for groups, events, and individual travelers staying at our 4 hotels within the cluster: Hilton Darwin, DoubleTree by Hilton Darwin, Hilton Garden Inn - Darwin, and DoubleTree by Hilton Alice Springs.Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:Maximize all Conference and Event commercial opportunities.Review business plans, identify gaps, and proactively work to fill capacity and meet commercial targets.Contribute strategically to the hotels'' commercial strategy and ensure departmental adherence.Understand the competitive marketplace and implement strategies to keep the hotel ahead locally.Account manage the hotels'' regular event clients actively.Lead the conference and events teams effectively, fostering a culture of high-quality standards, relationship building, exceptional customer service, and profit focus.Develop the Event Sales Team to ensure career growth and succession planning.Support and organize hotel promotional activities.What are we looking for?A Conference & Events Manager - NT Cluster serving Hilton brands is committed to guest satisfaction and teamwork.
