Other sales roles in the team could include SureSmile Specialist, Equipment Specialist and Implantology Specialist. This role promotes and sells Dentsply Sirona consumable products within a specific, geographical territory, increasing market share and penetration, whilst maintaining favourable client relations.Primary ObjectivesThrough sales activity, and product and client knowledge, deliver/exceed sales and growth targets for assigned territory in accordance with the regional sales plan and national product strategies.Specific AccountabilitiesPlanningDevelop, manage and implement the annual Territory Sales plan, to ensure achievement of agreed sales targets and broader total business objectives.Undertake ongoing strategic market analysis to ensure responsiveness to changes, market trends and competitor activities.Support the Sales Manager in the development of long-term Strategic Plans.Sales Plan ImplementationBuild relationships with both external and internal clients to capitalise on all business and opportunities.Identify key decision makers and opinion leaders and work with your colleagues to ensure development of strong business relationships.Understand and communicate the needs and expectations of the client to internal stake holders to ensure that we meet and exceed client expectations.Act as the direct client contact to address and resolve client concerns in conjunction with relevant company associates.Work with the Sales Manager to develop and execute a regional Clinical Education plan maximising use of self, external KOLs or company technical demonstrators.Reporting & AnalysisMeasure success of sales strategies and activities conducted within the territory and modify where necessary to optimise mutual client and company outcomes.Record all sales activities within relevant CRM software on a daily basisUndertake monthly analysis of sales and implement action to ensure achievement within agreed parameters.Ensure sales analysis and segment performance is reviewed on a monthly basis for provision of portfolio monthly report.Establishes systems and processed to enable efficient handling of functional work load and activities.KnowledgeEnsure ongoing currency of functional and technical knowledge via self-directed learning and proactive involvement in training and personal researchEnsure ongoing currency of systems and procedures via self-directed learning and proactive involvement in training as requiredTeamworkWork as part of a team, providing back up and support and sharing responsibility for completion of tasks as required.Work closely with the Sales Manager and other team members to identify and leverage opportunities to expand Dentsply Sirona business and drive related objectives.Health and SafetyAdhere to all health and safety procedures and policies to ensure a safe working environmentProactively identify and report safety and health risks to ensure continuous improvement of occupational health and safety practicesWear all personal protective equipment as requiredMaintain awareness and understanding of internal safety procedures and adhere to these at all timesProactively report and manage safety issuesPosition DimensionsNumber of positions reporting to this position is varied dependent on size and complexity of the regionNumber of direct reports; NilNumber of matrix reports; NilDecision Making AuthorityReviewing policies and procedures and making recommendations as requiredApproval as per Finance authority matrixRelationshipsProduct ManagersCustomer Support AdministratorsSales AdministratorClientsExperience and QualificationsRelevant degree or certificate preferredFormal sales training (desirable)Demonstrated experience in a similar roleKnowledge of the dental / healthcare markets (desirable)SkillsSolid understanding of the Sales ProcessHigh levels of personal drive and motivationMaturity of judgement and discretionCapacity to operate independentlyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills with a demonstrable ability to work within a changing environmentAbility to priorities conflicting workloads and multitaskLeads by example and acts as a role model to the broader team, consistently demonstrating Company Values and standards and striving for continuous personal and professional developmentIntermediate to Advance level computer skills with proficiency in MS Office Suite, Excel, Word, PowerpointDentsply Sirona is an EEO employer committed to fairness, diversity and respect.
