This position requires an amount of heaving lifting and manual labour, to be successful youll be able to complete these tasks in a safe and effective manner.The successful candidate will support all hospital departments by:Ensuring adequate stock is available as and when requiredBe responsible for the ordering, receiving and storing of stock in relevant locationsMaintain stock levels in accordance with hospital purchasing and inventory control policies and proceduresMaintain provision of usage reports to ensure stock controls enable organisational objectivesYour Essential Skills and ExperiencePrevious supply/purchasing experienceExperience using SAP/other computerised inventory control systemEffective communication and interpersonal skillsProven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently when requiredDemonstrated problem solving and analytical skillsDemonstrated organisational and time management skillsComputer literacy skills, including advanced knowledge of MicrosoftHold a current QLD drivers licence and forklift licencePrevious experience in a Hospital environment supply roleQualification in Purchasing or SAPWhats in it for you?Professional Advancement:Recognition, Rewards, Professional Development, and Employee referral programs.
