As energy markets shift toward a renewable future, the ability to effectively manage market and trading risk has become a key differentiator for the group and a core driver of its global growth, aligned with its Board-approved Global Trading Hub Strategy.The Retail Pricing Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the pricing activity that impacts on all retail sales. In a data analytics-focused role, you will be responsible for identifying, understanding and communicating electricity pricing trends and dynamics in the Australian energy market as well as providing insights and recommendations to inform pricing strategies and trading decisions.Key responsibilities:Pricing model & market analysisCreate, manage and monitor processes to collect, validate and process incoming data relevant to pricing.Improve the efficiency and reporting capabilities of financial and energy models by developing and enhancing them through the application of appropriate statistical models, data visualization, and other analytics techniques, including programming where necessaryEvaluate the profitability of new offers, products, and services by developing and managing business cases and financial/energy models.Manage the processes required to deliver progressively purchased product electricity and certificate options as contracted by Retail Sales, including customer interactionCompliance, Reporting & Stakeholder Relationships:Develop data governance and management processes and standards to ensure that appropriate oversight and behaviour is maintainedOperational Efficiency & Continuous Improvement:Identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies in sales operations processes and collaborate with the team to design and implement process improvements that optimise workflow.Proactively identify and escalate unusual pricing requests, incomplete meter data, or customer behaviours that may pose commercial or operational risk.Qualifications:At least 4+ years of experience in electricity pricing, energy trading, or a related field.Bachelor''s or Master''s degree in a quantitative field such as economics, finance, mathematics, statistics, or engineering.Applied data modelling techniques primarily for cleaning and structuring raw datasets, enabling automated workflows and scalable pricing/reporting solutions.Experience in influencing internal stakeholders;
