The Package: $107,723.72 - $119,029.04 gross per annum + 12% super. (Evaluated as Grade 16 of the QPRC Salary System 2025). This position is inclusive of a leaseback vehicle. If you love solving complex planning puzzles, mentoring a passionate team, and supporting how our community grows - this is your chance!In this role you will:Contribute as an experienced planner to the assessment of complex development applications, ensuring compliance with legislation and policy, negotiating planning outcomes and engaging with stakeholders.Provide expert guidance and support to the team, contributing to decision-making, mentoring staff, and fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.Drive continuous improvement and service excellence, enhancing assessment processes, systems, and cross-organisational collaboration, while promoting Councils values and maintaining a safe and compliant workplace.We are looking for someone who:Brings tertiary qualifications in Town Planning (or equivalent), with extensive experience applying NSW planning and related legislation (minimum 5 years experience).Demonstrates high-level organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and engage stakeholders effectively.Is proficient in digital planning tools and systems, including Microsoft Office, electronic records management, and the NSW Planning Portal.Working with us: At QPRC, we believe in supporting our people as much as we support our community.
