As we scale our engineering team and expand into new market segments, we need a Lead Product Manager who can help us capitalise on the significant opportunities ahead of us.You''ll be joining as our most senior product hire, working directly with our co-founders and leadership team to drive product strategy and vision while mentoring our existing product team. This is primarily an individual contributor role with leadership responsibilities for approximately two direct reports.We''re looking for someone who can hit the ground running, take ownership of major product initiatives, and drive excellence in product development. If you''re passionate about building products that help schools save time, improve communication, and deliver better extracurricular programs, and thrive in fast-paced startup environments, this could be the perfect opportunity.Key ResponsibilitiesContribute to product strategy and vision development across our key growth areasLead product discovery and continuous research to identify and validate product opportunitiesOwn end-to-end product initiatives from conception to market, working primarily as an individual contributorEstablish robust measurement frameworks and drive data-informed product decisions for product successScope and de-risk engineering projects, working closely with our Engineering Manager to improve delivery velocityConduct customer research and participate in customer meetings to maintain deep understanding of user needs and market dynamicsCollaborate extensively with engineering, sales, customer success, and design teams to ensure seamless product deliveryProvide mentorship and formal management for product team members through regular 1:1s and career developmentPartner with sales and marketing team to ensure effective go-to-market strategies and product commercialisationSupport design processes and contribute design thinking to help uplift our design capabilitiesDrive continuous improvement of product processesPrioritisation and roadmap managementSkills and Experience6+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS environments, preferably at tech startups/scale-upsExperience leading product initiatives across multiple product areas and influencing product strategyProven track record of taking products from concept to successful market adoptionStrong experience in product discovery, user research, and data-driven decision makingDemonstrated ability to work cross-functionally in fast-paced, dynamic environments where priorities can shiftSome experience mentoring/managing more junior product team membersExcellent communication skills with ability to engage confidently in customer meetings and stakeholder presentationsStrong understanding of product design principles and processesFirst principles thinking approach with ability to be assertive and opinionated about product decisionsExperience working with engineering teams to scope projects and manage technical riskEdTech or education sector experience is valuable but not essentialDirect engineering/development experience is valuable but not essentialWhy ClipboardImpact - Your work will have a profound impact on the business.
