Advanced Nurse Practitioner (GP Practice)The Leith Hill Practice is looking to welcome a capable and motivated Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to our collaborative and forward-thinking team. This part-time opportunity (15-20 hours per week) offers the chance to play a meaningful role in delivering high-quality care at a well-established rural practice with a loyal and varied patient population. The role reports to the practice manager.As an ANP, you will manage a broad clinical caseload across acute, urgent, and long-term conditions. You will be involved in chronic disease management, on-the-day care, and collaborative decision-making alongside our GPs, nurses, HCAs, and wider multi-professional team.Independent prescribing (V300) is highly desirable.What were looking for:MSc/Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Clinical Practice (or equivalent)Registered Nurse with current NMC registrationStrong clinical reasoning, communication, and decision-making skillsExperience in primary or urgent careA reflective, team-oriented professional with emotional intelligence and a commitment to high standardsMain duties of the jobThis is a varied and autonomous clinical role suited to a highly skilled Advanced Nurse Practitioner. You will assess, diagnose, treat, and manage patients with a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, using expert clinical reasoning and evidence-based decision-making. You will provide personalised care in partnership with patients and families, contribute to chronic disease management, and may prescribe medications and treatments where qualified.You will be a key part of the multidisciplinary team, working within your professional code and scope of practice, exercising judgement, managing risk, and recognising the limits of your competence.
