Youll play a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations, offering meaningful support, and fostering a high performing, engaged team.In this role, youll provide daily guidance and coaching, maintain team focus on key deliverables, and help build a culture where people feel valued, supported, and empowered to excel.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and provide guidance to a team of accounts payable officers and seniors, fostering their professional growth and ensuring their success.Oversee the end-to-end accounts payable process, including invoice approvals, payments, reconciliations, and vendor management.Efficiently assign tasks, set measurable goals, and conduct regular evaluations to drive productivity and accountability.Drive process improvement initiatives and ensure best practices are implemented and followed.Proactively identify and resolve issues or bottlenecks in the AP cycle, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.Other duties as assigned by the accounts payable manager to support broader corporate finance operations.Required Skills And CompetenciesHold a bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.Proven experience in accounts payable, preferably in a high-volume or shared services environment.Strong leadership skills with experience supervising or mentoring staff.Ppassion for creating a positive team culture rooted in collaboration, integrity, and continuous learning.Demonstrated success in driving process improvements and standardisation.Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset.Experience with Cheops, concur expense, SAPB1 or similar ERP systems is desirableACCIONA has been given the Top Employer 2022, 2023, 2024 & 2025 certification in Australia, which certifies the company''s commitment to excellence in human resources management and those who focus on putting their people first through their exceptional HR policies.
