We are seeking a dynamic Supervisor for our custom designed Autonomous Mine Control Room on site at Boddington.In this crucial role, you will be responsible for leading a team of Mine Controllers and Builders, monitoring real-time data and communications to ensure effective coordination and timely responses to operational needs. Your expertise will help to resolve dispatching issues, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and present regular performance reports to operations personnel.As a team leader, you will ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations and policies, train and assess team members, identify and mitigate risks, and conduct regular performance and development discussions.Join us and unearth your potential in a global company that is at the forefront of shaping the future of the mining industry.Specifically, you will.Supervise and be responsible for the Daily Autonomous Fleet Management operations from the control room to ensure efficient and effective coordination of resources and equipment.Collaborate with the Control Team and the relevant mining stakeholders to ensure timely movement of materials, personnel, and equipment to meet targets.Monitor real-time data and communications to ensure effective coordination and timely response to operational needs and emergencies.Solve and resolve dispatching issues to minimize delays and maintain continuous operations.Track and assess key performance indicators (KPIs) related to fleet management efficiency, response times, and operational effectiveness.Prepare and present regular reports on Fleet Management performance, including any deviations from targets and corrective actions taken, to relevant stakeholders.Ensure that all activities conducted by their team comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.Ensure all team members are trained and assessed as competent to perform their roles.Responsible for identifying relevant risks, implementing mitigation measures, and continuously monitoring risks.Conduct regular performance and individual development discussions with team members.Perform Critical Control Verifications both in the control room and out in the field.Coordinate response in conjunction with Mining Operations Leadership during Open-Pit Emergency situations.You will be a proactive individual who excels at providing effective coordination and timely responses to operational needs with outstanding problem-solving skills. Your detailed knowledge of key performance indicators related to fleet management efficiency, response times, and overall operational effectiveness will be crucial in your success in this position.An effective and open communicator, your leadership will be key to ensuring a culture where feedback is actively sought and valued, enabling continuous improvement and proactive problem-solving. You will have demonstrable experience in training and assessment, performance management and employee development.At a practical level, you will have significant working knowledge of MineStar, prior supervisory experience in an Autonomous Control Room and detailed understanding of health, safety, and environmental requirements.Newmont prioritises the health and well-being of its employees by offering health and wellness and reward and recognition programs.
