Physicists are engaged in clinical services, radiation safety, education, research, andadministrative activities.EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:Education/Experience:* A Ph.D. (preferred) or M.Sc. in medical physics or related discipline from a recognized university.* Membership in the Canadian College of Physicists in Medicine with a subspecialty in Radiation Oncology Physics,or equivalent credential.* A minimum of two years of practice in a clinical radiation oncology environment is preferred.* Demonstrated interest and activity in academics and research.* Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of staff in a multidisciplinary health careenvironment.Skills/Abilities:* Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of staff in a multidisciplinaryhealth care environment.Salary Range: $84.449 to 110.470The Health Sciences Centre strives to ensure the safety and security of the patients, visitors, employees and assetsfinancial and otherwise.
